A couple weeks ago, I had the chance to photograph musician, and actor Seu Jorge, at a house he was staying at, and recording in over in Hollywood. This shoot was for some press shots, and album art for his upcoming record that should be out soon… Here are a few of my personal favorites from the shoot…
I spent all of last weekend photographing Dam Funk, and Steve Arrington, formally of Slave. Dam, Being a modern funk musician, and Steve being of the “old school era” of Funk, it was great watching them interact, and work on music together. I shot everything from straight forward portraiture, to documenting them in the studio as they recorded the final tracks for Steve’s new record, coming out on Stones Throw. A huge thank you to Peanut Butter Wolf for organizing, and getting me access to shoot as much as I did.

The August issue of Angeleno Magazine just came out, and I have quite a few images in this issue. I did a 3 day shoot, covering three different neighborhoods here in LA, Trousdale, South Park, and Manhattan Beach. It was a great mix of portraiture, and architecture assignments, and I got to learn a little about parts of LA I don’t get to visit that often. I also have a shot of artist, and architect, Mohammed Hadid, in his beverly hills home… which had a pyramid in the living room…
