I recently photographed Ramona (Nite Jewel) Gonzalez for her new album “One Second of Love”, which is out now on Secretly Canadian Records.. (This is our second time working together, as I previously shot her 12″ single, “She’s Always Watching You”, which you can see here..)Here’s a shot of the album, along with some out takes that are being used as PR images.
Last sunday, I spent the day driving around San Francisco, with musician Doseone, shooting some new press shots for his upcoming album, coming out on Anticon… Here’s a few of my favorites out takes from the shoot..

I recently had the opportunity to photograph TV executive David Stafp, at CBS Studios in Los Angeles for a feature in The Hollywood Reporter! Here is the image that ran, with my favorite out take shot on “New York Street”.

I had another shoot with Russina Vogue a few months back, and the images are now out in the December issue (You don’t have to be in Russia to check it out). We spent the day at the home/ work space of jewelry designer, Sonia Boyajian, who makes some pretty interesting pieces, which you can check out here..

After several years of trying to photograph Madlib, I finally had the chance last Friday.. I had about 10 minutes of light to work with, and the rain had stopped for a minute to let me shoot. The actual assignment was to get shots of both Madlib, and Freddie Gibbs, to announce the new album they have been working on, which you can read about here..
I’ll post up those photos, from what turned into a long night of shooting, but for now, this is an out take of Madlib, that I shot for myself..
I have a couple different images running in this months issue of Elle Magazine, the first is of Justin Kern, and Stephanie Danan, who make up the fashion line Co-Collection. I spent the evening at there house, shooting portraits of the couple, and documenting one of their dinner parties (full gallery of out takes to come later).
For the second shoot, I spent a few hours in the new office of The Hollywood Reporter, photographing Janice Min, the new editor. You can read about her story here..
